The SYSDAT.IT project

From the creation of a web platform to online buying and selling of investment funds, to now with the 'App for dedicated authentication.

The need arose from the implementation of the new European Payment Systems Directive (PSD2) for dual authentication and open banking.

The development of the new Fundstore App was born with the aim of introducing a two-factor authentication mechanism to authorize login and transaction provisions on the Fundstore website, in line with current security standards, either by Fingerprint/FaceID or by 6-digit numeric pin (in case biometric inputs were disabled or not present).

The association between the user and the unique device identifier, which is essential to deliver the push notification, occurs during the registration phase, where in the first instance the user is identified by entering a username and password. In the second instance, a message containing a 6-digit OTP code is delivered to the email address associated with the user in order to ensure the identity of the operator who is registering the user.
